    Bose SoundDock Digital Music System

So, recently we started to tidy the house up, mainly in the false hope that in six months time we can put it on the market and maybe sell it within a year or so. I say false hope because it is hard to see past the current economic climate right now. Either way, one of the purchases i made for the house the other week was a new sideboard for the frontroom. It looked very lonely without something on the top so i purchased the Bose® SoundDock so sam can drop in her ipod touch or i can listen to tracks on my iphone3g on it. All i have to say is. WOW.

Never have i wanted to be entertained over and over again by a device. The music is excitable, has great clarity and really draws you in so far has not suffered from music fatigue. Impressive stuff these bose devices - i had heard one previous but it was a just a radio with a cd player and it looked like a heater/fan unit and never appealed.

One thing i noticed thou is that it will not charge my iphone3g which can be a little bit annoying i guess for some but i have an incar charger so between places i just throw it on that - it also says that stop interference that best to be put in airport mode which is a nice touch that it asks me but obviously it makes the phone unusable for incoming calls.

Might be a killing feature for people with an iphone3g but for me it is just for me to break out of the loft and sit and sketch something out on the settee without the distraction of the tv or the internet. really amazing sound to me can either be engaging or annoying i have found that low sound on the bose is really nice to have the ambience with such crisp notes and an amazing tight base - it really is a wonder. Apart from a fully fledged b&o system i know nothing better for the home. £150 well spent.

Oh, and to add to this i watched some interesting behaviour from sam. She was not prepared to go on my assessment of it when we first had it but went aside from me and listened to some music on her own and she loves it. Was interesting that she needed the space to listen in her own space to truly enjoy it. most interesting. i guess that is what i am trying to say, the bose system made the listening experience very personal and engaging - it seemed awful to share. Dancing alone, highly recommended. :)
